8 Tips for Being Prepared for Adventurous Sex
Being prepared for adventurous sex involves more than just being in the mood. Here are eight tips to help you make intimacy a priority and enjoy the experience.
-
Exercise your PC muscle regularly.
Think Kegels and pelvic floor exercises. Practice contracting and relaxing these muscles regularly. You can identify them by imagining stopping the flow of urine, but don’t regularly interrupt urination as an exercise.

-
Plan your date nights and playtime.
“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail” is a saying often applied to business.
Apply that to your date night and playtime.
-
Make the decision to believe your partner.
If they say they like something about you, accept it completely. This will build trust for more intimacy.
-
Make intimacy a weekly priority.
I recommend picking one night a week specifically meant for playing, exploring, or trying something new.
There is no excuse not to. When you make it a priority, you will make it happen.

-
Be honest.
It may be painful at first, but like good intercourse, it feels better and better the more you practice.
-
Breathe deeply.
Practice this often, and when you are intimate, it will be second nature.
Deep breathing makes for better control and a fuller body experience.
-
Be clean. Super clean.
As often as possible, make sure to be clean and fresh so you will always be ready when the mood strikes.
There are ways to take extra steps if you have issues, but most people are good with mild soap and warm water on external skin. Avoid using soap inside the vagina or rectum. 😉

Focus on the journey, not the destination.
In intimacy, as in life, focusing on the joy of the journey releases the pressure of trying to make something happen.
It also opens you up to actually receiving all the benefits of achieving the goal.
Making Intimacy a Priority
Planning time for intimacy, practicing honesty, and taking care of your body can help you be more prepared for adventurous sex.
Enjoy the Journey, Not Just the Destination
Remember to focus on the experience instead of putting pressure on yourself to achieve a particular result.
